Pembrokeshire-born performer Emily Davis is bringing her hit one-woman musical comedy, Escape the Rat Race!, to Newport Memorial Hall for one night only on Saturday 28 June.

Fresh from performing at top venues like the Wales Millennium Centre and ahead of her Edinburgh Fringe run, Emily returns home with this smart, soulful, and laugh-out-loud show.

It follows Blodwen Cadwalader, a high-achieving Welsh woman who faces burnout and rediscovers herself after a sailing mishap. The show blends stand-up, original music, and satire to explore ambition, identity, and the search for freedom beyond the 9–5.

Emily describes it as a “love letter to anyone who’s ever felt burnt out or unsure of what they’re really chasing.”
