A large scale emergency operation is currently underway at Pendine beach.
On scene, are four units from Dyfed Powys Police, three Rapid Response Vehicles, an ambulance from the Welsh Ambulance Service and a unit from HM Coastguard.
Please expect travel delays if you are in the area due to the large emergency service response.
The current advice is to please avoid the area.
The relevant authorities have been contacted for an official statement.

A witness at the location of the scene has reported Dolwen Point has been closed off to members of the public by Police Officers.

A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service told Pure West Radio in a statement:
“We were called at approximately 12.20pm today, Tuesday 19 April, to the Pendine Sands area of Carmarthenshire.
“We sent an advanced paramedic practitioner and an emergency ambulance to the scene, where crews were also supported by two duty operational managers.”
