Al Davey Jnr the ‘Tenby Troubadour’, is a talented, professional and entertaining performer who has been playing the pubs, clubs, restaurants and hotels of Pembrokeshire for more years than he cares to remember.
Al never fails to deliver with his blend of classic covers and occasional originals.
Even though Al has a wide and varied repertoire his favourite artists are probably Hank Williams, Bob Dylan and Neil Young. A few years ago Al issued an album of Hank’s songs recorded with his full band. He also had a band called ‘Forever Young’ which managed to cleverly namecheck both Neil Young together with one of Bob Dylan’s most well known songs.
Al is also a keen fisherman and has been known to bring some of his wares with him to sell at gigs!
