Vision Youth Theatre performs Annie Jr at Boulevard Showbar
Vision Youth Theatre performs Annie Jr at Boulevard Showbar, Milford Haven on July 1 For one night… and one night only, the talented youngsters from Vision Youth Theatre will be performing the musical Annie Jr.
This versatile troup originally rehearsed this show at the end of last year - but Covid lockdowns and restrictions meant that their public performance had to be postponed.
But now the junior actors are ready to tell the charming story of Li’l Orphan Annie and her amazing journey to a warm and loving family home.
With music and lyrics by Charles Strouse and Martin Charmin, and based on the book by Thomas Meehan, Annie Jr is often seen as the epitome of the American Dream - a world where anyone can succeed, regardless of whether they start from.
The iconic ‘It’s A Hard-Knock Life’ is probably the best known song from the show - but the young performers guarantee that audiences will go home humming one or other of the show tunes.
The show is directed by Karen Steadman; Clive Raymond is Musical Director and choreography is by Martin Rycroft.
There are two shows on July 1 - one at 6pm; one at 8pm and tickets are available fromwww.visionartswales.com
