The Pater Hall Trust has had its famous iron gates wide open since November. Warrior Warm Rooms has been a wonderful initiative for both community and volunteers alike. Pavs have assisted with support and advice to us and the Warrior Warn Room guests and likewise fellow local 'Warm Rooms' volunteers have been regular visitors. The support within Pembroke Dock with the collaboration of so many venues has been humbling. From
Monday to Friday a venue has been open to allow many to escape the loneliness and share the worries over this winter. The Poverty Grant scheme has enabled the PHT to purchase much required equipment & food to see us offer a choice of three meals and and beverages- all free of charge. Our vibrant team of volunteers always strive to pit smiles on people's faces and in return the Warrior Room has been an energy full of learning, laughter and positive experience. We plan to continue with a Warrior Warm Welcome with Pavs Hwb ( Lee Hinds) focus 'Spoke'. This will assist us in reaching to wider, more rural community and joining us in the continuous resurgence of Community spirit we have seen over these past difficult months. Many Warm Rooms will cease as of next week but we, The Pater Hall Trust plan to continue month on month
As a side note we have a St Pats celebration meal of homemade Irish stew and cakes available Friday 17th. We also plan to be entertained with music and Irish dancing .
