Funktion 22 is a terrific eight-piece band formed in 2022 to play funk, soul, and pop (hence the name!) - they are experienced musicians who hail from all over the shire.
The five classic covers featured, by artists such as Dolly Parton, Pharrell Williams, KC and the Sunshine Band, and The Equals, were recorded at StudiOwz on Clarbeston, and show the energy and expertise of one of Pembrokeshire's finest party bands.
Andrew Grimwood, the band's arranger and trombone player, was the guest on BB Skone's Show of Sunday 14th May and you can hear his interview on the show's podcast.
Andrew is a former member of the Irish Guards and has played at numerouse ceremonial events all over the world, including at the Queen Mother's funeral to thousands of people. He had to learn how to play the trombone whilst riding a horse!
