Local Artist of the Week: VARIOUS ARTISTS from the 'Our Piece of Heaven' CD.
Following on from the popularity of recent LAOTW 'Archive' slots, this week we feature the bands that contributed to 2002's 'Our Piece of Heaven' CD - a charity Album produced by Keep Wales Tidy and the Freshwater East Coastcare Group with sponsorship from PAVS and Texaco (now Valero), with sleeve notes by PWR's BB Skone
The aims of the project were to protect and enhance our coastal environments and raise awareness of specific problems such as water quality and litter. These aims are still relevant today. All the bands involved donated their tracks for free.
