A477 Nash Fingerpost junction set to re-open in both directions
The A477 Nash Fingerpost junction looks set to re-open in both directions one month earlier than predicted.
Traffic Wales issued a statement this afternoon (Friday, August 9), confirming that the road is expected to re-open in both directions on Thursday, August 15, at 6 am.
"The road will be open in both directions with the new permanent traffic signals in place by this time or earlier if possible," states their report.
"The 40 mph speed limit will also remain for the safe operation of the crossing."
Traffic Wales has confirmed that engineers will remain on site to check the traffic and adjust the timings where required, to enable the signals to work efficiently.
Following the road's re-opening, minor elements of work will need to be completed, but Traffic Wales has described these as 'small-scale and localised'.
Traffic lights will be re-installed at the junction in early September, with all work being carried out between 9.30 am and 3 pm. Further updates will be given closer to the time
