Free driving courses for Pembrokeshire's motoring pensioners
Pembrokeshire County Council’s road safety department is offering free monthly mature driver courses for all motorists who are over the age of 65.
The course, which will be held at Haverfordwest Fire Station, includes a morning in the classroom with informal discussions, safety films and a refresher update of the Highway Code. This will be followed by a practical session on the roads where an instructor will help motorists address any personal concerns they may have.
The course is being offered free to all motorists over the age of 65 residing in Pembrokeshire as a result of the Road Safety Grant funding from the Welsh Government. Anyone wishing to sign up is asked to contact Pembrokeshire County Council’s road safety department.
