Milford Haven has thrown up some of the hardest and heaviest rock produced in the Shire over the years. There's one bunch pf guys who have been at the forefront of that, most recently in Trunkshot and Hate Gauge but way back in the 1990s they were known as Concrete Beach.
Concrete Beach reformed recently to "reignite their musical journey with a fresh perspective while staying true to their roots". Last month they supported an Oasis Tribute at The Queens Hall in Narberth and recorded and released a brand new song 'A Day in The Sunshine' to coincide with that gig. That song is on this week's Artist of the Week playlist.
They have also rereleased their first CD (pictured), recorded in a long gone studio in Lampeter in 1998 and the other four tracks featured are also on this week's playlist.
Tha band at the time were Pembrokeshire music legends Dave Critten, Kevin Davies, Al Muirez, and Mark Mayhew (though Mark left soon after to be replaced by Evs).
