Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre is officially dog friendly!
The Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre is officially dog friendly following news that a new canine trialling policy is being introduced on Monday (August 12).
The trial will continue until the end of the season.
This means that all well-behaved dogs are welcome to visit the museum as well as the surrounding gardens and grounds.
Entry for all four-legged canine chums is free, although their owners are being asked to respect the Heritage Centre's rules for the safety and enjoyment of all its visitors.
All dogs must be kept on a short lead and should be accompanied and kept under control at all times. They must never be left unattended.
It goes without saying that any accidents that take place inside the museum or in the garden must be cleaned up by the owners, and cleaning supplies can be provided upon request.
Because of the size of the museum, only three dogs are allowed inside at any one time, and museum staff reserve the right to ask dog owners to leave if these guidelines are not followed or if staff or volunteers feel that dogs are behaving in a dangerous or threatening manner.
