The Torch Theatre, Milford Haven will be kicking off the New Year with a big thank you to its supporters by offering £5 cinema tickets and an early bird pantomime offer as part of its annual Winter Sale. Following a tough year for arts organisations across the country the Torch wants to give something back to everyone who visits by making a trip to the Torch more affordable for all.
The Winter Sale will run from January 10 to March 6 and will provide some much-needed fun and entertainment during the cold and wet days.
“This year we have asked audiences to support the Torch by coming along One More Time, and we have been overwhelmed with the response. As a thank you, we have decided to run our Winter Sale once more, and cinema tickets will be available for £5. You’ll also be able to book the best seats at the best prices for next year’s Pantomime Rapunzel,” explained Torch Theatre’s Artistic Director, Chelsey Gillard.
Janine Grayshon, Torch Theatre’s Artistic Programme Coordinator is hoping that many will attend the cinema to see the array of films on offer, including the Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown, Here which is a beautiful film about family and the space we inhabit and of course, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy!
“We are delighted to be offering discounted cinema tickets. The Torch has received so much support from our community so what better way to say thank you than by making a cinema trip more affordable. With such a great line up of films, I’m sure there’s something for everyone!” said Janine.
The Torch will also be screening two films as part of a National Disability Awareness Campaign - Unstoppable and The Peanut Butter Falcon before celebrating LGBT+ History Month during February with three films – Queer, India’s First Best Trans Model Agency and Carol.
The Torch Theatre’s cinema loyalty card, collected at the Box Office, can offer even more benefits for our regular cinemagoers. Ask at Box Office when you next visit and you’ll receive a credit card sized card which will be stamped each time you come to watch a movie. On your fifth visit you’ll get 2 free bags of popcorn and on your 10th
visit your 11th visit will be free. So, there’s no excuse not to come and see all your favourites on the big screen with a great atmosphere, and get a thank you from us for being a regular!
Saying a big thank you to its supporters has become a tradition at the Torch, and this year is no exception.
Chelsey concluded: “At the Torch we love to offer our audiences something extraordinary, especially during the dark winter days, so come along, beat the winter blues and get yourself a bargain!
