Wow what an incredible second tournament!
21 schools took part and everyone had a fantastic time. The results are as follows:
1st place: Henry Burton (Redhill)
2nd place: Steffan Hughes & Huw Holliday (Redhill)
3rd place: Osian Griffiths (Ysgol Caer Elen) Bryn Williams (Milford Haven Community School) Iolo Hughes (Redhill)
‘David Pinch Award’ for excellent sportsmanship: Carys Callan (Redhill)
Game of the Tournament: Tyler Davison- Hall (Johnston CP School)
Huge thank you to Ian Eustis from the Welsh Chess Union for being our Arbiter. Martin Jones and Scott Hammett for stewarding the event and our wonderful FOR for running the refreshments.
