Pembrokeshire Community Hub is proud to be supporting the amazing Freya Terry
Pembrokeshire Community Hub is proud to be supporting the amazing Freya Terry as she embarks on a solo circumnavigation of the British Isles, throughout the journey seeking to raise awareness of mental health.
The start of Freya’s story is one that will resonate with many – struggling through secondary school and feeling down, unable to place exactly what was happening to her, or to make sense of it.
The finding of sailing…and the development of that as a passion…but the continuing struggle to find good mental health throughout her teenage years. Freya’s story is a powerful journey through adolescence and her determination not to be defined by the struggle is inspiring.
Freya leaves on her journey from Neyland Marina on the 11th May and she will spend the next 5 months travelling the coast of the UK and going ashore to speak to youth and community groups about mental health and the challenges people face every day.
