Comments wanted on planning guidance for caravan, camping and chalet development
Pembrokeshire County Council wants to hear your views on planning guidance relating to caravan, camping and chalet developments.
Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG) has been prepared in line with a capacity assessment carried out in 2019 and it is being proposed for using alongside the replacement Local Development Plan (LDP 2).
The LDP sets out a framework for determining planning applications and directing new growth in Pembrokeshire, outside of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
The LDP 2 is also currently open to public consultation, alongside the supplementary planning guidance.
This focuses specifically on the capacity of Landscape Character Areas to accommodate a range of visitor accommodation and provide advice on whether existing sites can be upgraded or extended, or new sites developed.
Residents have until 16th December to have their say on these proposals.
Paper copies of the main documents can be viewed at County Hall, Haverfordwest and Pembrokeshire libraries where there is public access available.
Comment can be emailed to ldp@pembrokeshire.gov.uk or post to: The Development Plans Team, County Hall, Freeman’s Way, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, SA61 1TP by midnight on 16th December 2024.
