Saundersfoot public drop-in sessions launch Active Travel consultation
A three-part proposal to improve pedestrian and cyclist access in Saundersfootneeds input from the public.
Pembrokeshire County Council is consulting on Active Travel plans for the village that focus on Stammers Road, Sandy Hill Road and Frances Road.
Plans include the creation of Shared Use Paths for pedestrians and cyclists along with traffic calming measures, crossing points and widened footways to improve routes from the Harbour, the A478 and Coppet Hall Beach.
Public drop-in sessions will be held on 19th November, at the Coal Building, Saundersfoot Harbour, at 10am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm and 6.30pm to 8pm.
The sessions will have representatives from Pembrokeshire County Council, to answer any questions that may arise.
Following this one-day event, for those who are unable to attend in person, an online public survey will be made available and can be accessed, via: https://www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/have-your-say/consultations
The online survey will remain available for four weeks concluding on 17th December 2024.
The original date for the consultation launch (5th November) had to be cancelled due to technical issues, apologies for any inconvenience caused.
