Autumn Food & Drink Fair at Llys-y-frân: Taste the best of Pembrokeshire
Llys-y-frân has announced its upcoming Autumn Food & Drink Fair featuring 22 stalls, which will take place on Saturday 26th October between 10am and 4pm. Set in the foothills of the Preseli Mountains, this free-to-attend event will showcase some of the region's finest food and drink producers, offering a delightful day out for food lovers and families alike.
Highlights of the event include Cinnamon Grove Gin, presenting their premium gins, vodka, and rum, each crafted with fresh fruits and pure well water from a historic 300-year-old well in Pembrokeshire. Joining them, Pembrokeshire Cider Co. will offer a taste of their quality ciders and apple juice, freshly pressed from local orchards.
Visitors can look forward to sampling the traditional handmade cheeses from Pant Mawr Farmhouse Cheeses, produced on their small Welsh hill farm in the Preseli Mountains. For those with a sweet tooth, Printed Chocolates will showcase their personalised handcrafted chocolate bars, while Cwm Deri will offer a selection of craft wines and liqueurs catering to all palates.
Innovative culinary creations will also be on display, with Bug Farm Foods bringing their Cricket Cookies and other insect-based foods. Popty Cara's individually handmade fresh cakes and Blocochoc's luxury treats made with 100% Belgian chocolate, promise to satisfy any dessert lover. Good Carma Foods will present their award-winning natural nut-based vegan cheese alternatives, perfect for those seeking plant-based options.
In addition to the Autumn Food & Drink Fair, families can enjoy a fun half-term Halloween activity. Join the Nature’s Cauldron Halloween Trail, where children collect a cauldron and trail sheet from the visitor centre, then follow the map to gather spooky ingredients and claim a sweet treat prize at the end. This engaging trail runs from Saturday 26th October to Thursday 31st October, costing £3 per child. No need to pre-book; just turn up and join in the fun.
