48 relay runners have set out on the epic challenge of taking a baton around the Great Racecourse Relay 48 times, totalling nearly 150 miles.
The effort has been generously supported by 17 local businesses, and nigh on £1000 raised .
The lead sponsors have been announced as Prendergast Butchers, Winner of Welsh Butchers Shop of the year 2020.
Kevin Wheeler, run coordinator stated: "We look forward to handing the baton on to them on Saturday morning.
Our first pair of runners are Laurence and Carwyn, both sponsored by Forbidden Florist.
Laurence is an experienced runner and regularly runs at Haverfordwest Parkrun on a Saturday. Around 10:00 He will pass the baton onto Carwyn. Carwyn is a strong cyclist and a member of the Pembrokeshire Triathlon team that won the Welsh Super Series 2024."
The event welcomes spectators, supporters and donors who help keep the racecourse open to the public.
