A children’s bereavement charity based in Milford Haven has received a funding boost following South Hook LNG’s success in the Cardiff Half Marathon.
A team of runners from the energy company took on the challenge for the first time, in support of Sandy Bear Children’s Bereavement charity, raising £4,966 for the organisation that provides vital counselling services to Pembrokeshire children and their families.
“We are incredibly thankful for the dedication and generosity shown by the South Hook team. The funds raised will make a massive difference and directly support our vital work in Pembrokeshire, helping children and young people deal with their grief and build resilience for the future” commented Ana Waite, Sandy Bear’s Head of Fundraising and Marketing.
