Pembrokeshire given yet another Yellow weather warning - this time for gales
Pembrokeshire is being told to batten down her hatches following yet another Yellow weather warning issued by the Met Office.
Strong winds are expected to strengthen from the west during Sunday, with gusts of around 50 to 55 mph likely in places, especially near coasts and over to the west of high ground. In exposed areas, the wind could exceed 60 mph.
This will be accompanied by outbreaks of rain, which will be heavy at times, which could lead to some surface water and spray. Winds will gradually ease across Wales throughout Sunday evening and on into the night, but it may remain fairly windy along some coasts of southern and southwestern England during Sunday night.
People are being urged to check road conditions if driving, as well as bus and train timetables, enabling you to amend your travel plans if necessary.
If you are on the coast, stay safe during stormy weather by being aware of large waves. Even from the shore, large breaking waves can sweep you off your feet and out to sea.
Take care if walking near cliffs. Always make sure you know your route and keep dogs on a lead.
In an emergency, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
