Tenby lifeboat bids farewell to two long-standing crew members
Tenby Lifeboat station has paid tribute to two crew members who recently decided to stand down from their duties at the station.
Chris Salisbury has served the station for a hefty 19 years after joining in 2005 and serving until the present day. He worked as deputy mechanic for 15 years, as well as various other roles from slip crew to inshore lifeboat helm. Meanwhile Phil Rees recently stood down as a launch authority, having previously served as the Lifeboat Operation Manager from 2010 until 2023.
During their time at the station, the Tenby Lifeboat was launched on numerous occasions, while countless lives have been rescued.
