School Transport Policy consultation launched Pembrokeshire County Council has launched a School Transport Policy consultation and is asking for public feedback.
--
The Council currently provides transport to school / college for more than 4500 eligible learners every day, at a cost of more than £8 million per year.
The public’s views on our School Transport Policy are welcomed as part of a wider review of school transport provision in Pembrokeshire.
Whilst there are no specific proposals for change at this time, your views will help to shape future provision. Any changes to the policy will need to be deliverable and affordable in the context of driver shortages and the financial pressures faced by the Council.
Any changes to the policy following the review will apply from September 2026.
