Content Team

How did you get into radio?

I was a print journalist for many years, so a move into broadcast seemed a natural step.

Where is your favourite place to visit in Pembrokeshire?

Freshwater West or Milford Marina. And I love the night-time view down the Haven from the Cleddau Bridge when the lights reflect on the water.

Who is your hero?

The Suffragettes.

What is your biggest fear?

I'm claustrophobic so being locked in anywhere.

Where is your favourite place to visit in the world?

France. Or Portugal. Or Italy. Anywhere, really. I love to travel. I crossed India off my bucket list when I visited as part of the Rotary International/Bill Gates Foundation Polio Vaccination programme in 2018.

What would you change about yourself if you could?

I'd stop being such a worrier... and a checker. I'm paranoid about not locking up or leaving the iron plugged in.

What makes you really angry?

Bullies.

What motivates you to work hard?

I love to share my knowledge, skills and experience with the best generation of Journalists.

What is your favourite thing about your life?

Spending time with my daughter.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

My daughter. I've always said she is the best headline I've ever written.

Who is the most famous person you've met?

I've met many through the course of my career, several royals, but my favourites were The Hairy Bikers and author Ian Rankin.

One thing people might be surprised to know about you?
