About Richie & Sa!

What do you do at Pure West Radio?

Presenter

How did you get into radio?

Hey, we’re Richie and Sa, partners in life and in music! Together, we make up the duo The Pretty Chords, but before we got together romantically, we spent over 30 years gigging off and on in different bands. Now, we’ve teamed up to bring you the Richie and Sa on Sunday show!

Sara's been presenting for Pure West Radio for a while now – first on the Drive Time Show, and then the Sunday Morning Show. Rich, back in the day, worked as a club DJ. We both share a huge passion for live music and tunes from across the decades.

We also run a bi-monthly Open Mic at Manorbier Castle Inn, so if you’re ever around, come join us! On our show, you can expect some banter, a bit of fun, and of course, great music. We hope you’ll tune in and hang out with us!

One thing people might be surprised to know about you?

Here’s a fun little tidbit: we’re both big into cycling, and our Chihuahua, Hector, has more attitude than you’d ever expect from such a small dog. You might spot us cycling around the county in our "Hector's Angels" T-shirts – it’s basically a tribute to our little sidekick who thinks he’s the boss of everything, including our bike rides!
