A pioneering hydrogen project in Wales is celebrating its six-month milestone as one of the first operational hydrogen production facilities in the UK

Two projects that help people volunteer and enjoy a range of activities in Pembrokeshire’s great outdoors were recently recognised in the 2023 National Park Protector Awards, which recognise the individuals and groups who go above and beyond in and for National Parks.

Pembrokeshire County Council has awarded a contract for the installation of rooftop solar panels on 20 local schools and leisure centres to Welsh social enterprise, Egni Co-op.

The Welsh Ports Group, a sub-committee that discusses and manages all business and developments concerning Welsh Ports, held their annual Senedd reception at the historic Pierhead Building in Cardiff Bay on Wednesday this week, 27^th September.

The bovine TB project in Pembrokeshire, to explore how a partnership approach can tackle the disease, has begun following the awarding of the contract for its delivery, Rural Affairs Minister Lesley Griffiths has announced.  

A range of free activities and competitions will be on offer at the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority stand at the 2023 Pembrokeshire County Show, aiming to encourage people to learn more about the Park, it’s wildlife and how everyone can do their bit to tread lightly and boost biodiversity.

Sea Trust Wales are officially launching our new VR Experience and our Discovery Room based at the Ocean Lab in Goodwick. Both the experience and the educational room are part of our new project – Discover Môr.

Pembrokeshire’s Darwin Centre attended the launch of Darwin200, an initiative that will retrace Charles Darwin’s famous voyage on the HMS Beagle from 1831-1836.  Darwin200 will take 2 years to complete the voyage on the Dutch tall ship, the Oosterschelde which sets sail on August 15^th from Plymouth.
